Sheikh al-Habib Sends A Sharp Message To Muqtada al-Sadr: "Evil is that for which you've knowingly confounded truth with falsehood"

Book status update

For those of you follow me on tumblr but aren’t aware, I recently completed a book on the subject of tabarra a couple of months ago. I finally received review copies from the printer today, and once it has been read and re-edited by the reviewers, I’ll post a link for anyone interested who would like to purchase a copy. Insha’Allah, I am hoping to have the finalized copy publicly available by sometime in June, if not sooner!

Fact or Fiction - Episode 13 (by ddrricky)

A response by Sayyed `Ali `Ali Haydar, from the office of Shaykh Yasir al-Habib to the recent deceptive statements of Ammar Nakshawani al-Munafiq against the shaykh and Sayyed Mujtaba Shirazi regarding bara’a (notably different from his *past* statements on this subject).

Shaykh Hussam Abdulkarim al-Karbala’i - Friday Khutba 4-20-12 (by dandannoodles)

Ahlul Bayt Mosque, Brooklyn, NY.

Summary: The importance of using the mind and wisdom Allah AWJ has given us, thinking before speaking and not jumping to conclusions. Also, Islamic unity or selling our religion? Anyone not following the law of Allah AWJ becomes a Shaytan, such as `Ayesha, and why it is wajib to curse her and others of her ilk. The four kinds of people who hate `Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS), and why do they have a problem with the Holy Prophet (SAWA) and his family? Including a discussion of nasibis and historical enemies of `Ali and Aale Muhammad (AS), such as Hind, Abu Sufyan, etc., may Allah curse them, and why we must do bara’a from them.

And it was said to as-Sadiq عليه السلام: So-and-so is loyal to you, however he is too weak to disassociate (al-bara’at) from your enemies. He said: How far be it, whoever claims to love us but does not disassociate from our enemies has lied [about loving us].

—Mustatrafat as-Sara’ir

From Zakariyyah ibn Adam, who says: One day, I was in the presence of Imam Ali al-Rida when his son, Imam Muhammad al-Jawad, who was less than four years old, was brought to him. When he was brought in, he struck his palms upon the ground and raised his head towards the heavens and remained engrossed in deep thought for a long time. Seeing this, Imam al-Rida asked: May I be your ransom! What are you thinking about? He [Imam al-Jawad] replied: I am engrossed in thought regarding the sufferings that befell my mother, Fatimah. I swear by Allah, I will bring out those two men [Abu Bakr & Umar] from their graves and burn them and then scatter their ashes into the seas. Hearing this, Imam al-Rida asked his son to be brought closer to him, and he kissed him on his forehead and said: May my parents be your ransom! You are worthy of this affair [Imamate/Wilayat].

Wow. You’re blunt!”

Tabarra, particularly regarding the two idols of the Quraysh and their two daughters (Allah’s eternal curse be upon them all), is a fundamental aspect of Shi`ah aqedah and had been for more than 1,000 years; and only over the last 50-70 years at best has there been a more concerted effort, on the part of some so-called “scholars” who prefer to mix truth with falsehood, to obscure it or bury it entirely. Insha’Allah, Allah AWJ will utterly ruin the efforts of the deviants.
